How to Play Omaha Hi Poker
Omaha Hi is a version of Holdem poker that is very similar in betting structure. But in Omaha Hi, players are dealt four hole cards instead of two. The main difference between Omaha and Texas Holdem is that in Omaha Hi, players can use only two of their four hole cards, along with three of the community cards, to make their hand. Omaha Hi is also known as Omaha Holdem or just Omaha. The four hole cards make Omaha a nine card game. Having more cards to choose from means that players will generally finish with stronger hands. Omaha poker basically leads to higher hands, more people staying in the game for the pot, and larger pot sizes in general. It's a great poker game for those who want lots of action. Holdem players will find that the focus in Omaha Hi is more about playing the cards than playing the other players.
